CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Always wash your towels and bathing products before use in 40 or 60 degrees. The first few washes will release the absorbency. You might need to wash darker colors a couple of times more to get the full absorbency, since the dyeing process for darker colors is stronger than for light colors. Please also note that before the first few washes the towel material acts as any soft long fibre cotton fabric and is vulnerable to rough surfaces and like for example for hairbrush bristles.

Our long fibre towels love tumbling after the wash and we recommend using tumble dryer. If there’s no dryer available, familiarize yourself with the drum spin speed of your washing machine. The most effective drum spin speed may not be the most suitable for towels, since they might get stuck flat on the drum walls and not get the drying process needed. Once the washing program and drum spin is done, give the towels a good shake before line drying.

Wash towels and other bathing accessories always with similar colors and preferably with other towels.

The use of fabric softeners is not recommended as they reduce absorbency over time. Laundry vinegar is allowed. Do not bleach.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • If single fibre loop comes out of the fabric, you can simply cut it with scissors.
  • Small pilling may occur after washing. This will decrease between washes.
  • If the fabric turns hard after washing, we suggest trying another washing program with different drum spin speed and follow the instructions above.
  • Normal shrinkage of cotton is 1 – 5%
  • Always check the washing instructions from the hangtag and washing label attached to the product.
