The lawful and secure processing of personal data is important to Luin Oy and we always process personal data in accordance with good data processing practices. We are committed to complying with the data protection legislation in force in Finland and the instructions issued by the authorities. This privacy statement describes how Luin Oy processes your personal information. The description is in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the national legislation. 4. What are the registers used for?
The personal data stored in the customer registry is used to establish and maintain the customer relationship, as well as to process the orders placed by the customer and to deliver the ordered products.
The newsletter registry is used to inform the registered subscribers on Luin Living’s marketing, products, and service.

5. What information does our registries contain?
The customer registry can contain the following information:
• name
• email address
• telephone number
• address information
• language preference
• order information (purchases, deliveries, and discounts)
• usernames and passwords
• name of the company

The newsletter register contains the following information:
• email address

6. What sources of information do we use?
The customer registry data is gathered from the customer, or user, on our website, though registration, orders and/or other contacts made.
The newsletter registry collects personal information from the luinliving.com newsletter subscription form starting from the moment the person has authorized the reception of the newsletter.

7. To whom do we transfer or disclose the collected personal data?
To the extent permitted by law, your personal information may be disclosed to Luin Living’s partners to the extent necessary for the assignment given by the customer. If necessary, the information will be passed on to our payment service providers, our logistics partners, and the newsletter company provider.

8. What information is transferred outside the European Union (referred to as EU) or the European Economic Area (referred to as EEA)?
We mainly process your personal data within the EU and EEA, but as a controller we may outsource the processing of personal data to third parties, which may also be located in countries outside the EU / EEA, such as the United States. The transfer of personal data outside the EU or the EAA is always based on and conducted in accordance with the applicable legislation regarding the processing of personal data.

9. How is the customer registry protected?
The registry’s information system and its files are protected by the technical security methods normally used in business operations. Any access to personal information requires a user ID issued by the customer database administrator. The processors of the customer and newsletter registries have a confidentiality duty on all information. The controller is obliged to report any security breaches in accordance with the applicable law.

10. How long do we keep your information?
We retain personal information for as long as necessary in order to comply with our contractual and legal obligations, and/or to process the gathered personal data. Ordering, billing, and payment information included in the accounting material is stored as required by the Accounting Act (1336/1997).

11. What are your rights regarding the processing of personal data?
From your client account page, you can configure, correct, and/or delete the information you provided and decide whether you want to receive marketing messages from Luin Living. To unsubscribe our newsletter, you can also use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletters. You can also request the deletion of your client account by submitting a request to our customer service at info (at) luinliving.com. You also have the right to review the information stored in both the customer and newsletter registries and request the correction of outdated, incorrect or incomplete information. Requests for inspection and rectification must be sent by mail only directly to Luin Living’s address mentioned in section 2 of this leaflet.
